Eva-Last Spanish Saffron, Mosman

This home once had an old hardwood deck which had been built 20 years ago. The boards were constantly being replaced due to splitting, a constant maintenance, however time took its toll, and the deck came to an inevitable end.

The framework had also deteriorated significantly and needed replacing. A treated pine framework replaced the old and this stunning maintenance free Eva-Last Spanish Saffron decking board was used, which from a distance resembles the timber, a feature the homeowner was after.

The existing black powder coated aluminium pool fence had been recently replaced, so we careful set this aside and reinstalled it after the new deck was built.

In addition to replacing the staircase, we also used mitred picture frame border and breaker boards around the swimming pool to give the deck a more modern contemporary feel.

The family was thrilled with the outcome, finally they could enjoy the swimming pool without fears of getting splinters or cut feet on broken boards and protruding nails. The new deck is guaranteed to offer many years of maintenance free enjoyment without fear of injury.
